EV Onboard Charger & DC/DC Converter Combo, 800V, V2X
This 10 kW high-voltage onboard charger (OBC) and DC/DC converter combo is designed for 800 V electric vehicle architectures.
The onboard charger draws energy from the AC power grid and converts it into high-voltage DC to charge the vehicle’s traction battery, with the vehicle’s charging process being monitored fully. Additionally, the OBC supports an inverter function, allowing energy transfer from the battery pack to the AC grid.
The onboard DC/DC converter steps down the high-voltage DC to low-voltage DC, providing 12 V power for the vehicle’s electrical systems and charging the auxiliary battery.
Both the OBC and DC/DC communicate output voltage and current data over the CAN bus, enabling seamless interaction with the Battery Management System (BMS) and Vehicle Control Unit (VCU) for status feedback and operational control.
