Why Electrify the Construction Equipment
Dramatically Reduce Fuel Costs & Emissions
Hybrid systems cut fuel consumption by up to 30%-40%, directly lowering operational expenses. Simultaneously, COâ‚‚ and NOx emissions are slashed, helping companies comply with tightening environmental regulations (e.g., EU Stage V, EPA Tier 4).
Enhanced Operational Efficiency
Electric-drive components deliver instant torque and smoother power transitions, improving equipment responsiveness and productivity in dynamic environments.
Lower Maintenance & Longer Lifespan
Electric motors and batteries require less frequent maintenance than traditional diesel engines, reducing downtime and extending equipment service life.
Noise Reduction for Urban Projects
Electric mode operates significantly quieter, enabling nighttime work and compliance with urban noise regulations.

Case Study: Hybrid Bulldozer Project in Europe

The diesel-electric powertrain of this hybrid bulldozer boosts fuel efficiency by up to 30% and production by 10%.
Client Background
Our client, a professional construction equipment manufacturer in Europe, reached out to us in 2023 seeking an efficient electric powertrain system for their hybrid bulldozer project. We supplied them with the drive motors, electric generators, and controllers for their equipment.
Challenges Faced
Using a traditional fuel-powered system required a large engine. This engine’s efficiency dropped due to varying operating speeds, leading to high fuel consumption and increased costs.

Solutions We Provided
- A 210/360 kW electric generator and controller system
- Two 120/282 kW drive motors with controller systems
Our electric drive motors, mounted between the wheels, eliminated the need for a transmission. This configuration ensured smooth operation without lags for gear shifts, with fewer moving parts compared to a standard bulldozer. The internal combustion engine operated in its optimal efficiency zone, generating electricity without RPM fluctuations. This setup resulted in greater reliability, lower maintenance costs, reduced fuel consumption, and a significant reduction in carbon emissions.
How we work
- Initial contact and understanding requirements: after understanding the client's needs and working conditions of the equipment, we proposed a tailored solution and provided drawings.
- Technical coordination: we worked closely with the client's technical and engineering teams, discussing detailed information and ensuring the feasibility of our solution.
- Quotation and delivery: after confirming the feasibility, we provided a quotation and esnured timely delivery of our products.
- Installation and support: our service continued post-delivery. We collaborated with the client's engineering team through several meetings to ensure proper installation and optimal operation of our systems on the client's prototype bulldozers. The client was also very cooperative, keeping us informed of every progress step.
Outcome
Our powertrain system successfully runs on the client’s bulldozers, delivering the promised efficiency and performance improvements. We continue to provide ongoing technical support to ensure long-term success.
